I've been meaning to make these cookies for a while. Usually found in old fashioned bakeries- they lack glam, and are usually baked from parve ingredients (ishk!)
So I decided to bake them as they were intended to be: with plenty of butter (as well as yogurt). They are filled with vanilla pudding, powder sugar and egg whites.
The result was YUMMY... a crumbly vanilla cookie thats so rich its almost like having a slice of cake with a moist vanilla middle. mm mm mm . Recipe definately coming with me to Italy...
